PRESIDENT
Amanda Black is the President of the Falcon’s Four Pillar PTO and a dedicated member of the school community for more than 11 years, with three children currently in 10th, 6th, and 3rd grade. She is known for stepping in wherever support is needed, from leading event initiatives and coordinating donations to supervising activities, while thoughtfully balancing the demands of work, home, and school involvement.
With a professional background in corporate legal and corporate affairs, Amanda brings a strong organizational leadership and a strategic, solutions-focused mindset. She is passionate about strengthening collaboration between families and staff to create meaningful opportunities that support student success and enrich the Foundations experience for all.

Hi Foundations Families! I am Brianna Franco and this is our fourth year at Foundations Academy. I have 2 students, Ethan, and Owen. Our family loves to have adventures together and we love movie nights!

Hi Foundations Families! I’m Jami Martinez, and 2025-2026 is our first year at Foundations Academy. My husband Josh and I have lived in Brighton for five years, and we have two students, Declan and Ashlyn, plus our two-year-old, Liam. I love baking, binge-watching a good show, and finding fun things to do with our kids. I’m excited to serve as your Communications Chair and help keep our Foundations families connected!

Katie Burczek has served on the PTO for almost 7 years and serves in capacity as representative from the board. She has served Foundations School Board since 2019 in various leadership roles, including Director, Vice President, President, and currently Secretary. With over twenty years of experience in county and municipal government, she brings strong skills in project management, intergovernmental collaboration, and community-focused program development—assets she uses to effectively support the school's strategic goals.
Katie prioritizes classroom support and targeted interventions to ensure student success, strongly advocating for collaboration and active community involvement. On a personal note, Katie has been married for 21 years and has three children who have all attended Foundations Academy, providing her with a deep connection to the school community spanning more than a decade. One child is now in college, another attends high school, and the youngest continues to study at Foundations Academy.

Hello! My name is Jennifer Grounds. My husband, Vicente, and I have three children that attend Foundations. We have Cain, Alaia and Grace. We just moved to Brighton over the summer of 2023 from Frederick and still have a lot of ties out there. We are very active in our church and love to read and cook. Vicente and I are blessed to be civil servants working in the Regulatory and Compliance space for the State of Colorado. I am honored to be a PTO member so I can be engaged in the functions of the school and help all of the children thrive.
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Jennifer Grounds. Mi esposo Vicente y yo tenemos tres hijos que asisten a Fundaciones. Tenemos a Caín, Alaia y Grace. Nos acabamos de mudar a Brighton durante el verano de 2023 desde Frederick y todavía tenemos muchos vínculos. Somos muy activos en nuestra iglesia y nos encanta leer y cocinar. Vicente y yo tenemos la suerte de ser funcionarios públicos que trabajan en el espacio de Regulación y Cumplimiento del Estado de Colorado. Me siento honrado de ser miembro del PTO para poder participar en las funciones de la escuela y ayudar a todos los niños a prosperar.

Hello Falcons!! My name is Bethany Saba. This is our second year at Foundations and our son, Liam, is in 2nd grade. We absolutely love our Falcons Family. We enjoy camping, traveling, food, movie and game nights. I'm honored to be part of the PTO and look forward to another great year.
Hola Halcones!! Mi nombre es Betania Saba. Este es nuestro segundo año en Foundations y nuestro hijo, Liam, está en segundo grado. Amamos absolutamente a nuestra familia Falcons. Disfrutamos acampar, viajar, comer, ver películas y pasar noches de juegos. Me siento honrado de ser parte del PTO y espero con ansias otro gran año.
